Alpha Kappa Hosts Second Annual Dads’ Day

On Saturday, September 27th, the gentlemen of Alpha Kappa gathered together to welcome their fathers to the Pike House. With a great turnout from the parents and the alumni, every father had an opportunity to spend time with his son. The Pikes planned a luncheon, where academic and named scholarships were awarded to many recipients, and activities with their dads as everyone had the chance to go out to MS&T football game, the rugby game, or local wineries. Over fifty scholarships, totaling $45,000, were awarded to the recipients for GPA accomplishment and individual achievement based on campus organization involvement and Pi Kappa Alpha leadership. Along with the incredible success accomplished by the Pikes, the parents and alumni enjoyed spending the day at the house.
