Alpha Kappa’s Successful Turkey Bash Supports Special Olympics

Just a week before Thanksgiving Break, Pi Kappa Alpha held their 4th annual Turkey Bash. This was not only to support the Rolla Chapter of Special Olympics, but also to celebrate the arrival of the holidays with the start of Thanksgiving. Thanks to the hard work of the individuals who assisted in setting up the event (All-Stars and the performances of King Thief, Freak Accident, and Ashborne), Pi Kappa Alpha raised $2100 which will be given directly to the Special Olympics held yearly at the Missouri S&T track. ‘Tis the season to be jolly and the true spirit of the holidays has been exemplified by Pi Kappa Alpha’s support for a good cause. Alpha Kappa would like to extend a thank you to all who attended or made a contribution to the annual Turkey Bash.
