Pi Kappa Alpha Wins Softball Championship
Alpha Kappa's championship Softball team
On October 13, 2008, Pi Kappa Alpha defeated Sigma Nu by a score of 12-11 to secure a championship for intramural softball. The Pikes won the softball game in dramatic fashion as they came back with two runs in the final inning, including a “Thickburger” walk-off base hit driven down the third base line to bring home the winning run of the championship game. This was a noteworthy win to put Pi Kappa Alpha with a significant lead in first place for Intramurals overall.
